Scott Fischman

Scott Fischman started playing poker when he moved to Las Vegas. An avid player, his interest grew with his ability, leading him to become a professional dealer when he turned 21. After spending just over a year dealing at the Mirage, profession merged with passion and Scott moved to the other side of the table. Since that time, he’s made a strong showing and established himself as a professional.

From 2001 to 2004, Scott gradually developed as a presence on the tournament scene. He made numerous final table and cash finishes, most notably in the sixth Annual Tunica Classic and the WPT Five-Star World Poker Classic, where he went deep in three events. While he was building an impressive list of finishes, he had yet to join the ranks of poker's elite. And then he went to the WSOP.

Scott made his WSOP debut in 2004 at the age of 24. Not only did he cash in four events, he was the youngest player to win back-to-back WSOP bracelets. He took first in the $1.5K No-Limit Hold ‘em event, besting a field of over 800 entrants to earn $300K. Days later, he impressed everyone when he won the $2K Limit HORSE event for over $100K. By the end of the WSOP, Scott walked away with well over $400K. Since that time, he’s made a total of 10 WSOP cash finishes. Most recently, he took down over $17K in 2007 for the $5K Pot-Limit Hold ‘em event.

Scott's performances have earned him more than just a living, as he's become a notable media figure over the past ten years. His 2004 WSOP performances were featured on ESPN, and he's appeared as a commentator for the Ultimate Poker Challenge and the National Poker League. He's also graced the pages of several poker magazines and was featured in Rolling Stone as "the face of Generation Poker."

Online, Scott can be found trolling the tournaments on Full Tilt Poker where he's ready to share advice with his fellow players.
